Madeline Simpkins joined Doré Rothberg Law as an Associate Attorney after clerking for the firm while in law school. She earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2025 and her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric & Writing from The University of Texas in May 2022.
During law school, Madeline served as a Limited Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law Board 48. She participated in the University of Houston Moot Court Team and traveled with the University of Houston’s Mock Trial Team, where she competed in multiple moot and mock trial competitions. She additionally served in the capacity of Vice President for the University of Houston’s Christian Legal Society and worked as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Houston Law Center Civil Justice Clinic, managing cases in probate and landlord tenant law.
At Doré Rothberg Law, Madeline primarily focuses on bankruptcy, litigation, oil and gas, and business law.
When Madeline is not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, crocheting amigurumi, reading, and taking long walks in the park.
