Joyce began as a temporary employee at Doré Rothberg Law covering the front desk and immediately loved the sense of community the firm values. The firm quickly became her favorite place to temp, and she was thrilled to be invited to join the team. As the Firm Services Coordinator, Joyce serves as the primary point of contact for Human Resources and ensures smooth operations across both offices.
Joyce is a native Houstonian and grew up in Central Northwest. In her free time, she enjoys participating in all sorts of artistic endeavors, from theater to fine arts. She has been in numerous community theater productions and even worked as a cast member at the Texas Renaissance Faire. She paints, makes costumes, and enjoys sculpture and creative writing. She sings first soprano and received a scholarship for vocal performance at Blinn junior college.
She spent two years as a legal assistant in a Family Law Firm before returning to school to complete her degree. Joyce graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 2023. Her journey into higher education began in high school, as a member of the second graduating class of HISD and HCC’s Futures Academy at Scarborough High School, earning an associate’s degree a week before receiving her high school diploma.
