Michael Gilmore joined Doré Rothberg Law in 2023. He earned his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Journal of Property Law where he researched the Texas Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act and was nominated for the American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Bankruptcy Law Student Award. Michael also had the opportunity to extern in the United States Attorney’s Office in Dallas and for the Hon. Harlin D. Hale, Northern District of Texas Bankruptcy judge.
After graduating from Texas A&M University School of Law, he worked as a litigator for a boutique bankruptcy firm in Dallas, where he focused on commercial bankruptcies in both Chapter 7 and 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
In his free time, Michael enjoys playing board games and card games, as well as spending time with his amazing wife and family. In the warmer months, Michael is on a quest to perfect his barbeque skills.
