Shira Ali earned her law degree with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. During her law school career, Shira served as Chief Justice of Thurgood Marshall School of Law’s honor court and tutored colleagues in legal writing. She spent her law school summers as a law clerk for the asset management group at Ropes & Gray in San Francisco, CA.
Shira joins the firm as a licensed private investigator with experience in performing skip traces, background checks, and researching legal, financial, and criminal information regarding persons or organizations of interest. At Dore Rothberg Law, Shira joins the litigation, collections, and liens practice areas.
In her spare time, Shira loves spending time with her family, cooking, and decorating. According to her daughter, Shira is a cool mom who tries to keep up with current pop culture and fashion. Additionally, Shira is currently writing a memoir which she hopes will inspire South Asian women to pursue their dreams against culturally held traditional barriers.
