Doré Rothberg Law is proud to announce that shareholder Lisa Rothberg has officially earned Board Certification in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS)—one of the most selective credentials available to attorneys in Texas.

Fewer than 400 attorneys statewide boast this certification, according to the TBLS website (TBLS - Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Specialty Area), making it a rare distinction that proves extensive expertise in one of the most complex areas of Texas law. The certification process is extremely rigorous: applicants must demonstrate years of substantial involvement in oil, gas, and mineral law, complete extensive continuing legal education specific to the specialty, submit peer and judicial references, and pass a comprehensive, multi-hour examination designed to test advanced legal knowledge and real-world skills.

This achievement was not merely an impressive dedication of her time and energy, but it especially highlights Lisa’s long-standing commitment to excellence and her care for advising clients in matters involving Texas’s energy industry.
